Product Details Les Monts’ fascination with Ethiopian coffee begins with the Yirgacheffe region. The Konga Specialty Coffee is produced by the Konga Cooperative, which is considered to be one of the most successful cooperatives in the Yirgacheffe region and has an unrivaled reputation for being well-organised. The Cooperative works with 1,500 small farmers, each of which owns around 1.25 acres of farm area to produce their coffee, and particularly, Les Monts coffee is processed at the Masrshu Mill. All cooperatives in Ethiopia belong to a Union that mills, grades, sells, and exports the coffee. This Union is known as the Yirgacheffe Coffee Farmers Cooperative (the YCFCU). The YCFCU unites farmers across six (6) districts of Dilla, Wonago, Bulle, Yirgacheffe, Kochere ad Gedeb) in the Southern Ethiopian zone of Gedeo. Altitude: The coffee was picked from an altitude that is 1850 – 1950 MASL or 6000 – 6400 ft above sea level, amongst the most perfect condition to grow Arabica specialty. Variety & Processing: Welencho | Natural Processed. Cupping Notes: Blueberry, jasmine, green apple, lime, apricot, lemongrass, citrus with a sweet and clean cup.
